ET Solar and Longi create joint venture as the world’s leading brand of monocrystalline products
ET Solar has announced that it has signed a cooperation agreement with Xi’an Longi Silicon Materials Corp., the world’s largest manufacturer of high-efficiency monocrystalline products, to form a joint venture.The joint venture provides that ET Solar and Longi replenish and expand their respective expertise and advantages in technology development, products, branding and distribution channels. Institutions are hoping to advance in the world market for high-efficiency monocrystalline solar modules.
Both parties are of the opinion that it is important for future breakthroughs in terms of development and cost of solar technology, especially on the efficiency. Cost-efficient Monocrystalline technologies will be the driving force to make solar energy more efficiently. Both companies have to make the stated goal of ET Solar become a world market leader for high-efficiency monocrystalline solar modules. In addition, one wants to catch up with high-efficiency PV products and cost savings in the downstream power generation.

Longi is the world’s largest manufacturer of monocrystalline products. Through its R & D expertise in the production of monocrystalline products could achieve continuous cost savings and increase its market share for Monocrystalline modules in China from 20% to 25%.
