EV startup BattRE launches entry-level electric scooter LoEV
Priced at Rs 59,900 ex-showroom, the premium electric scooters are available in 6 color variants.
New Delhi: BattRE Electric Mobility, a technology-driven Electric Vehicle startup, today launched a new model of its electric scooter named LoEV in the premium entry-level segment.
Priced at Rs 59,900 ex-showroom, the premium electric scooters are available in 6 color variants. The model will also be available on Amazon India and BattRE stores in Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Gujarat.
The LoEV electric scooter comes with features like dual disc brakes, remote key, anti-theft alarm, reverse gear, wheel immobilizer, 10 AMP fast charger, 2 hours charging time and a detachable Lithium Ferro Phosphate battery with 3 years warranty.
The company had launched its first electric scooter BattRE-One in June 2019 which was a premium mid-segment product. Since then, the company has ramped up distribution channel to over 50 dealers in 6 states covering South India, Maharashtra and Gujarat.
“With enough and more demand at the entry-level segment, we are confident of doubling our throughput at existing dealers with the launch of LoEV. It will also drive our entry in the new geographies like UP, Bihar, MP and Rajasthan in the next 2 quarters,” BattRE Electric Mobility Founder Nischal Chaudhary said.
The Jaipur-headquartered startup was founded in 2017 and aims to tackle the issues raised by carbon footprint, noise pollution and the hassle of traffic through e-bicycles and e-scooters.
BattRE is now being incubated with Sangam Ventures, an investor specializing in clean technology investments.
