Qair, TotalEnergies and BW Ideol to go ahead with the 30MW EolMed project off the Mediterranean coast
Qair, TotalEnergies and BW Ideol have made the final investment decision for the 30MW EolMed floating offshore wind farm off the Mediterranean coast of France.
BW Ideol said more details on the decision will be released on Monday 9 May.
EolMed is one of the first floating wind projects in the Mediterranean and will be composed of three 10MW Vestas wind turbines. The project will be installed 15km off Gruissan.
Construction is expected to start later this year.
