FuturaSun connects a new 894 kW system to the German grid
In the last few days, a new 894 kW photovoltaic system developed by FuturaSun, was connected to the German grid in Zirzow, close to Neubrandenburg in the region of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The system, installed on completely renewed agricultural coverings, uses FU260P polycrystalline modules. Financed by a leading German banking-house, this project confirms the bankability of FuturaSun’s modules. The installation, also analyzed by the photovoltaic institute PI-Berlin, is FuturaSun’s first direct investment in Germany following several systems already installed in Italy, Romania and in the United Kingdom. This year the German PV market will remain one of FuturaSun’s main markets as several projects are already under development with supplies of 3.2 MW for roof top installations in several cities in central Germany. FuturaSun’s forecast is to install 15 MW of projects in Germany during 2017.
