Gamesa Electric is awarded the supply of Solar Power Stations based on 1500Vdc Technology for Intipampa Project (Peru)
Gamesa Electric has been awarded by Solaire Direct with the contract for the supply of Solar Power Stations for the 40 MWac Intipampa PV project in Peru, in the province of Mariscal Nieto.
With this contract, the relationship between the two companies is consolidated and aimed to partner together for coming years
A challenging characteristic of this project is the height of the final site, which is 2.100m.
Solaire Direct has trusted in Gamesa Electric for this project led by some key factors such as Gamesa Electric’s capability to address any new Grid Code connection requirement, our technical capability for working in high altitude, and our portfolio of “plug and play” Solar PV Power Stations and PV Inverters with advanced hybrid cooling system, which perfectly fit to withstand harsh environments.
Gamesa Electric’s scope of supply for this project will be 9 Solar Power Stations 4,7MVA including our high efficiency Gamesa E-2.25 MVA-SB-I PV Inverters at 1500Vdc, which scores one of the highest efficiencies of the market (99.1% maximum efficiency; 98.8% European efficiency).
Each Solar PV Power Station is a standard ISO 40 feet maritime container fully wired, interconnected and factory tested, formed mainly by:
o 2 x PV Inverters Gamesa E-2.25 MVA-SB-I
o 1 x Step up oil filled transformer
o 1 x MV protection switchgear
With this operation, Gamesa Electric reinforces its presence in LATAM and particularly in the new 1500Vdc Technology.
