The total power generated from solar energy, as reported by Central Electricity Authority, during the last three years and the current year are as under:

Solar projects with an aggregate capacity of 2,501 MW have been installed in Uttar Pradesh. This includes 2074 MW from ground-mounted, 258.78 MW from rooftop, and 167.69 MW from off-grid projects.
Government have approved 7 Solar Parks with a cumulative capacity of 3730 MW. The details of the parks are as follows:

In addition, 120.63 MW of rooftop solar projects and 225 MW of solar capacity under Component A of PM-KUSUM have been sanctioned for the State of Uttar Pradesh. In addition, 4,66,842 number of solar pumps have been sanctioned for Uttar Pradesh under Component B and C of PM-KUSUM.
