nion Minister of State for Power, Coal, New and Renewable Energy and Mines, Piyush Goyal, has released reports prepared by PowerGrid and POSOCO in an event on ‘Empowering the Grid to meet Future Challenges’ organized by the Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd in New Delhi, Bureaucracy Today has learnt.
While the reports ‘Renewable Energy Integration: Transmission an Enabler’ and ‘Green Energy Corridor II’ were prepared by PowerGrid, ‘Electricity Demand Pattern Analysis’ was prepared by POSOCO.
PK Pujari, Secretary, Power, addressed the gathering at the event which was held on Tuesday.
IS Jha, CMD, PowerGrid, gave a presentation on the role of transmission as enabler for vibrant electricity market and informed the guests about the PSU’s joining the elite club of Rs one lakh crore market capitalization companies. A short film on the PSU’s journey, technological excellence and its role of enabler was also showcased at the event.
