Gupta has been onboarded as Executive Vice President of Business Development for Biofuel EPC Vertical
GPS Renewables, India’s leading full-stack biofuels firm, has appointed Prabhunath Gupta as Executive Vice President of Business Development for its Biofuel EPC Vertical.
Prabhunath Gupta was previously handling Gas Marketing at H-Energy (Hiranandani Group) and heading Business Development at OCS Services. Prior to that he was a part of the L&T Hydrocarbon BD team and had also worked as an Executive Assistant to Shri AM Naik, L&T Chairman.
Prabhunath previously served as the Head of Business Development at OCS Services, where he was responsible for end-to-end management of strategic planning, business development, marketing, tendering, proposals, costing, and business acquisition of Oil & Gas Operations & Maintenance and Brownfield EPC projects in India, West Africa, and the Middle East. He was responsible for identifying business opportunities, developing acquisition plans, building partnerships, evaluating prospects, assessing legal and risk factors, managing stakeholders, and conducting market intelligence and competition mapping.
As the Chief Manager of Gas Marketing for the H-Energy group of companies, Prabhunath held various responsibilities such as managing natural gas and RLNG pre-sales, sales, and marketing for City Gas Distribution, Steel & Metal sectors, and Gas trading throughout India. He was responsible for strategic business planning, developing techno-commercial proposals, gas pricing, customer acquisition, negotiating contract terms, and signing off on Term Sheets or Gas Sales Agreements with Gas Customers. Additionally, Prabhunath managed auction and bidding to buy Domestic Gas from Indian Gas fields such as RIL, Vedanta, ONGC, among others. He also engaged in networking, market intelligence, strategic and competitive insights, customer and competition mapping, key account management, MIS, CRM, PNGRB regulations, policy advocacy, global outlook, developing SOPs, and representation in conferences/seminars.
Prabhunath reviewed and executed Gas Transportation Agreement with Gas Transporters such as GAIL and PIL.
