The Government of Nepal (hereinafter called” Borrower”) has received financing from the International Development Association (IDA) (the “Bank”) in the form of credit (hereinafter called credit toward the cost of Grid Solar and Energy Efficiency Project. The Nepal Electricity Authority, an implementing agency of the Borrower, intends to apply a portion of the proceeds of this credit to eligible payments under the contract for which this Request for Proposals is issued. Payments by the Bank will be made only at the request of the Nepal Electricity Authority and upon approval by the Bank, and will be subject, in all respects, to the terms and conditions of the financing agreement.
