The launch of the new retail experience centre in Gurugram is in line with Altigreen’s robust plans of nationwide expansion
Gurugram : India’s leading commercial electric vehicle maker Altigreen today inaugurated its brand-new retail experience centre in Gurugram, OLD DELHI. This is the company’s 28th retail dealership in India, following the launches in major metros like Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Delhi and Bangalore. The new retail experience centre in Gurugram will provide EV enthusiasts in the city with the opportunity to access Altigreen’s range of electric cargo vehicles. For the dealership, Altigreen has chosen to partner with SKYY Mobility- one of the most reliable automotive retail companies in the country.
The Altigreen Retail Experience Centre was launched at the hands of Dr. Amitabh Saran, Founder & CEO of Altigreen.
The launch of Altigreen’s new retail experience centre in Gurugram served as the perfect platform for the launch of the all-new NeEV Tez – the world’s fastest charging 3-wheeler featuring Exponent’s 3-in-one connector that lets the user choose between slow, fast and superfast charging options. The NeEV Tez requires 15 min charging for a full charge at E pump, 3.5 hours slow charging with 16 A Socket- 200V and up to 1 hour at the Bharat DCOO1 charging station!
Today, EV fleets have limited productivity; cargo business owners are facing a few rather pertinent issues, such as long vehicle charging time, inconsistent charging experience, and the need for 3PL players to set up their own hubs to solve both charging and parking. In addition, customers wanting to run 2 shifts (~16 hours) are forced to deploy 2 EVs since the vehicles take too long to charge, thereby decreasing flexibility and increasing the cost of operations.
The Altigreen NeEV Tez powered by Exponent solves these issues by offering 1-hour charging on DC001 network, and a 15-minute full charge at an e^pump, as opposed to the industry average of ~4 hours. The battery comes with a 3000-cycle life warranty with 100% rapid charging versus the industry average of ~1000 cycle life. With the NeEV Tez, customers can now use the same vehicle to complete two shifts, thereby increasing their productivity and earning more profits. Additionally, with a public e^pump network, customers don’t have to install charging hubs further boosting profits!
With an increase reported in the demand for electric vehicles, the Haryana government’s new electric vehicle policy, which was notified in November 2022, includes a total of 12 schemes aimed at promoting the manufacturing of electric vehicles and their components in the state. The 12 schemes listed in the policy include purchase incentives for buyers, charging and battery swapping station scheme, net SGST reimbursement scheme, capital subsidy scheme, employment generation subsidy scheme, etc.
Dr Amitabh Saran, Founder and CEO, Altigreen, said, “We are excited to step into Haryana with a brand-new retail experience centre in Gurugram. We have partnered with SKYY Mobility to reach out to EV enthusiasts across Haryana. We are also using this occasion to introduce the Altigreen NeEV Tez – the world’s fastest charging 3-wheeler with added features, to the people of Gurugram!”
With the launch of this retail dealership, Altigreen is focusing on providing its consumers with an enhanced and never-seen-before experience with world-class and modern infrastructure. Every element of the dealership has been designed to lend a welcoming feel especially to consumers walking in out of curiosity. Altigreen has left no stone unturned to ensure the dealership reflects the company’s ethos of respect, empathy, and gaining the trust of consumers through transparent dialogue.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Gaurav Jain, Managing Director, SKYY Mobility, said, “EVs are emerging as the preferred clean technology for the future of mobility. The economics of EVs has also improved significantly, while advancements, especially in battery and charging technologies, help make them an extremely efficient alternative as well. The push by the central and several state governments is one of the driving factors helping consumers transition to electric mobility. We are excited to partner with Altigreen for this retail experience centre in Gurugram!”
