Heraeus Photovoltaics expands, now hiring 100 more to join global team to support integrated solution business
Heraeus Photovoltaics, a leading technology solution provider for the renewable energy industry, is on a strong expansion path. The company is going to hire 100 new employees around the world to support its business strategy to move from a paste supplier to an integrated solution provider. The positions Heraeus Photovoltaics is looking for are engineers and managers in sales as well as personnel in customer service, application engineering, application development, service, strategy, marketing and operations. The majority of the new hires will be in China, the fastest-growing market for renewable energy.
“Heraeus Photovoltaics is the only supplier for all existing and emerging cell technologies and our business is constantly growing. To master this growth we need excellent and passionate new people in the areas of sales, customer service, engineering, marketing and operations to intensify our relationship with customers and to deliver on our promises. At this years’ SNEC in Shanghai we will have our biggest product launch ever. We are adding eight new products and services to enable our customers to even further increase efficiency in their cells as well as in their production processes,” said Andreas Liebheit, President Heraeus Photovoltaics.
Heraeus Photovoltaics has a Solar Superhero program where employees are invited to this elite group to work on photovoltaics technologies of the future that are aimed at helping to lower costs and increase efficiencies in photovoltaics. Heraeus offers live interviews at Heraeus Photovoltaics’ booth with Human Resources on the first day of the show (April 19, 10.40 – 11 am) and a dedicated HR center to start the career as a Solar Superhero.
“Solar Superheroes have an unconditional drive to shape the future of renewable energy. They are free to bring their own ideas and have great motivation to be Superheroes in this industry. Heraeus believes that the costs of renewable energy will decrease further by 50% in the next five years and that Heraeus technologies will be able to contribute to one third to this challenge. We therefore need Superheroes to help to achieve these objectives. Working together on global challenges is pricelessly self-satisfying and a lot of fun to work on,” Andreas Liebheit further commented. The new hires will be joining Heraeus Photovoltaics’s global workforce of 270 employees. The business unit already has a strong presence in mainland China with more than 80 employees in addition to offices in Taiwan and Japan.
