
Huawei and SolarEdge Sign Global Patent License Agreement – EQ Mag Pro

Shenzhen, China : Huawei and SolarEdge Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: SEDG) have agreed on a global patent license agreement between the two companies, which enables the companies to use patented technology of the other side based on recognition of the companies’ overall innovation capability.
The agreement includes a cross license that covers patents relating to both companies’ products, and grants certain other rights. In addition, the agreement will result in a settlement of all pending patent-litigation between the companies.
The specific terms of the agreement are confidential. This agreement ends lawsuits between the companies that were pending in Germany and China.

Its innovative products include Smart String Inverter, Smart String ESS, Smart PV Module Controller and Smart PV Management System that help to achieve higher yields, optimal LCOS, active safety, and grid forming.
