Hy-Hybrid Energy, GOLDI and MMC focus on hydrogen drone project
Hy-Hybrid Energy, GOLDI Mobility and Shenzhen MicroMultiCopter (MMC) have joined forces to push forward the development of hydrogen-powered unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
The companies today (4th Jan) announced the partnership through which they will each play a key role in order to to demonstrate hydrogen-powered drones in Hungary as an end result.
As part of its role in the agreement, MMC will provide product support for the hydrogen drones/UAVs to enable GOLDI’s demonstration project. Hy-Hybrid Energy will provide technical and project management support to the team, followed by complete manufacturing setup.
GOLDI will further offer repair, maintenance and compressed hydrogen refuelling services to local customers.
“We are now setting-up the hydrogen drone business at GOLDI’s facility in parallel to our ongoing efforts on Zero Emission Buses project- the battery electric and fuel cell electric buses development program in Hungary”, commented Dr. Naveed Akhtar, CEO, Hy-Hybrid Energy.
“To demonstrate our great interest in hydrogen powered aviation, last year we organised the world’s first international hydrogen aviation conference (IHAC 2020) and now preparing for its 2nd round to take place on 2nd Sept 2021.”
