“The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has signed an agreement to invest $50 million in Avaada Energy Private Limited (AEPL) to help the company rapidly scale up photovoltaic solar energy generation capacity in India,” according to its press release.
Indian Law Partners (ILP) advised Avaada Energy led by a team of partners Gopika Pant and Vineet Gupta, senior associate Abhimanyu Kaul and associate Ira Swain.
AZB & Partners Delhi acted for the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
