IMPORTANT: Environment Impact Assessment (EIA) Related Clarification from MNRE

MNRE has provided clarification on applicability of Environment Impact Assessment (EIA) Notification 2006 on Solar PV power projects , Development of Solar Parks , Solar Thermal Power Projects.

Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF & CC) have clarified that the provisions of EIA Notification 2006 is not applicable to Solar PV power projects , Solar Thermal Power Projects and Development of Solar Parks , subject to conditions mentioned in enclosed MNRE Office Memorandum.
