In an effort to support sustainable energy transitions and reach carbon neutrality goals, India and France on October 29, 2022 adopted an ambitious plan for the development of green hydrogen.
According to the French embassy, the roadmap intends to integrate the hydrogen ecosystems of France and India in order to build a dependable and long-lasting value chain for decarbonized hydrogen.
Ms. Chrysoula Zacharopoulou, a French minister of state for international partnership and development, and Mr. R K Singh, Minister of New and Renewable energy in India, adopted the roadmap.
President Mr. Emmanuel Macron and Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi made a clear commitment to advance bilateral collaboration on hydrogen on May 4 earlier this year during their meeting in Paris.
