India largest floating solar project NTPC- Ramagundam accomplished using Saatvik Solar PV Modules – EQ Mag Pro
Saatvik in a recent agreement with BHEL has supplied 62MW Solar PV Modules for the NTPC Marque Floating Solar power project in Ramagundam. A total of 100 MW installation was engineered and executed by BHEL (Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited).
Saatvik – Leading Indian module manufacturer has supplied high-efficiency and quality PV modules integrated with the latest and advanced technology for the aforesaid floating project.
Mr. Prashant Mathur (Chief Executive Officer) stated in a statement that “We are pleased to be a part of this project as a module supplier. Saatvik has provided the requisite quantity of Solar Modules for this flagship floating solar project in the record-breaking time, for which the company has deeply strategized production planning to meet the demand.
The entire project at Ramagundam has been engineered with superior Eco-Friendly technologies and features to prioritize environmental safety. Spread across 500 acres of the reservoir the entire EPC engineered by BHEL was executed into 40 blocks each having a power generation capacity up to 2.5 MW on one floating platform with an array of 11200 solar modules. With the execution of the Ramagundam floating solar project state can save coal consumption up to 165000 Tons.
Furthermore, Saatvik intends to engage in forthcoming bidding auctions and tendering for providing required modules as well as executing landmark projects, as the business intends to enter directly as an EPC project executer.
