Ayana Renewable Power Private Limited (Ayana Power) won ‘Project Engineering Head of the Year’ at EQ E-Award Show May 2021. Powered by EQ iSearch, India Solar Awards 2020-21 was organized by EQ on May 26, 2021 through virtual mode.
The event was conducted for the solar industry of India based on the achievement of the year 2020-21. Mr. Saravanam M, Head D&E, Ayana energy accepted the award. “Thanks EQ Team for this honor. I thank the entire team of EQ and the jury. I would also like to thank the complete engineering team of Ayana and the management team for the support. Otherwise, we would not have reached this forum.
We will strive hard to work as a team to achieve better rights so that we can meet you again next year.” Ayana power also won other awards at Solar Award event. These awards are Best M&A Deal of the Year, Solar Engineering Team of the year and Young CFO of the year.
Saravanam M has more than 20 years of experience in engineering across thermal power plant electrical, substation and PV power plant design. He has engineered about 12 GW of solar PV plants from 1 MWp to 465 MWp across India and other countries like Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia and South Africa.
Also, Saravanam M has carried out due diligence of about 5.0 GW of operating assets across India. He has also been involved in engineering first of its kind PV projects- Narmada Canal Top PV Projects, PV projects with Single Axis and Dual Axis Tracker during year 2011, first of its kind during that point time, Wind and Solar Hybrid Project.
Along with these, he has always been instrumental in bringing down BOS cost to achieve tariff 2.38 INR/kWH through last bidding. Ayana Power was founded in the year 2017 and headquartered in Bangalore, Karnataka.
