Jakson has been awarded contract for design, engineering, supply, construction Erection, Testing, commissioning and O&M of a 50 MW Solar PV plant in Kerala by SECI on behalf of IREDA.Jakson has bagged a contract from Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) who has earlier invited developers to bid for a 50 MW Solar PV tender in Kerala where they are required to do engineering, supply, construction Erection, Testing, commissioning and O&M for 10 years. SECI invited bidders on behalf of Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) to develop a solar power plant at Kasargod Solar Park.This 50 MW plant will be operational by July 26, 2016. A tripartite agreement has already been signed between SECI, Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) and IREDA.
