Jakson Group and OMC Power collaborate on 50 MW solar roof project in UP – EQ

This collaboration aims to enhance renewable energy adoption in the region, supporting decentralized power generation for rural and semi-urban areas. The project aligns with India’s clean energy goals, promoting sustainability and reducing dependency on conventional energy sources.
In Detail : Jakson Group and OMC Power have joined hands on a 50 MW solar rooftop project in Uttar Pradesh which is valued at approximately Rs 200 crore. This collaboration, among India’s largest solar rooftop ventures, aims to drive the energy transition in the state while significantly reducing carbon emissions.
The project spans all 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh, with Jakson Group implementing cutting-edge solar rooftop systems. It is expected to offset 62,500 tonnes of CO2 annually which is equivalent to planting 25 lakh trees and it aligns with India’s clean energy aspirations.
Speaking on the partnership, Sameer Gupta, CMD of Jakson Group, shared, “As a key player in one of India’s largest Solar Rooftop projects, we are proud to contribute to this landmark initiative. Together with OMC Power, we are setting new standards of excellence in renewable energy.”
