Jindal Company Likely To Set Up Solar Power Plant In Kiltampalem in Andhra Pradesh

Under the direction of Jindal South West Energy Limited (JSW), the solar power plant of worth Rs 2000 crore would be set up in Kiltampalem of S.Kota mandal. The JSW Energy Company General Manager Tapas, Director, Head Project Rachuri Kanakarao, Manager Vishal Soni and consultants examined Jindal Company’s lands near Kiltampalam in the zone.
Speaking on occasion, Jindal Company said that it is planning to set up a 250 MW Solar Power Plant on 650 acres in the surrounding villages of Chidipalayam, Kiltampalam and Pedakhandepalli.
The Jindal Solar Power Plant would create about 600 jobs in the region. He said that under the auspices of the JSW, it is planning to set up paint industry and the 300-acre Brandix-style textile park at Ammapalem near Boddavara in another 60 acres in the area.
Director, JSW Alumina Limited, said that the company has about 1,165 acres of land in the area and plans are underway to utilize the property.
