JinkoSolar Successfully Holds its Global Technical Symposium
SHANGHAI, November 22, 2016 –JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd. (“JinkoSolar” or the “Company”), a global leader in the photovoltaic (PV) industry, today announced that it successfully hosted its global technical symposium on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 in shanghai, inviting 150 industry professionals and scientists from leading global PV institutions, organizations, and universities, including Mr. Wang Weiwei, Director of Information Technology Dept of MIIT, Mr. Wang Bohua, Secretary General of China Photovoltaic Industry Association, Prof. Martin Green from UNSW, Prof. Armin Aberle from Singapore Renewable Energy Center, Prof. Hary Wirth from Fraunhofer Institute, Prof. Daniel Mcdonald from The Australian National University and Prof. Armin Aberle from Solar Energy Research Institute of Singapore.
This one-day intensive conference focused on technical programs covering the cutting-edge developments in science and engineering of photovoltaics. The sessions ranged from fundamentals to applications, with an emphasis on material science, devices, systems, solar resources and policy related matters. Mr. Xiande Li, Chairman of the Company delivered an opening speech, followed by Mr. Hao Jin, chief scientist of JinkoSolar, who introduced the latest achievements in photovoltaic (PV) research, development, applications, and showcased three newly launched products.
The scientific and technical content of JinkoSolar’s technical conference was enhanced by great international networking opportunities. All the attendees enjoyed participating in this event dedicated to the science and technology of photovoltaics, many stating it provided a unique opportunity to share and discuss PV-related developments which can contribute towards a world powered largely by PV systems.
