TOKYO: JXTG Nippon Oil & Energy, a unit of JXTG Holdings Inc, Sojitz Corp and other Japanese firms have agreed with German wind farm developer wpd to buy a 27 percent stake in Taiwan’s Yunneng Wind Power, they said on Friday.
The buyers also include Chugoku Electric Power Co Inc , Chudenko Corp and Shikoku Electric Power Co Inc.
Yunneng plans to build a 640 MW wind farm offshore of Yunlin County by December 2021.
