Kurlon Enterprise Limited and Enerparc Energy Pvt Ltd announces inauguration of Captive solar project at Gwalior
Kurlon Enterprise Limited, a home comfort products manufacturer, pioneered themodern mattresses, one of the Super brands in India and a leading player in the segment today announces the inauguration of1stground mounted 400KWpsolar power system in the premises of their state of art manufacturing plant at Ghirongi, Malanpur Industrial Area in the state of Madhya Pradesh.
The system was designed and constructed in record time of 41 Days by leading Global solar turnkey EPC contractor Enerparc Energy Private Limited.
Continuing with our tradition of innovation for the overall benefit of thesociety and contribution to a cleaner and greener environment, we decided to go ahead with installation of solar power plants said Mr. T Sudhakar Pai on the side lines of inauguration function. This is first step taken by Kurlon group in installing solar power plants and would follow with more such environmental friendly installations across various plants spread over country.
The installed solar system would typically generate approx. 6,12,000kWh of energy per annum, enough to power 40% of plant’s energy needs andutilized for the captive energy requirement of plant and save approx. 500 MT of Co2 emission to environment. Installed Solar system is grid synchronized and has feature of load balancing so that there is no energy flow towards the grid in case of excess generation due to low load requirement at plant due to absence of net metering possibility.
