SB Energy, a domestic arm of the Japanese investment powerhouse Softbank Group, has signed up with the Essel group to jointly develop a solar project in the state of Rajasthan.
Link Legal acted for Softbank group. The Link Legal team was led by Partners Dinesh Pardasani and Shashwat Kumar along with Senior Associate Dhruv Chopra.
Essel Group was advised by its in-house team.
This Transaction will allow SB Energy to develop upcoming solar power project having an installed capacity of 600 MW and expandable by an additional capacity of 150 MW.
The Transaction also allows SB Energy to develop single largest solar power project in terms of MW capacity in a single location and accelerate the development of solar assets in India.
