Madhav Infra’s Bhopal project considered under ‘India Smart Cities Award 2020’
The Project has 500 KW Solar Panels put by the side of the lake over a distance of 1.2 KM and its produce around 7.5 lakhs unit annually.
Madhav Infra Projects Limited has informed that the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Govt. of India on 25th June, 2021, has announced “India Smart Cities Award 2020′ in which Bhopal City is the Joint Winner in the “Urban Environment” category for set up the Solar Panels by the Side of ‘Bada Talab’.
The solar panels have been installed on the retaining wall of the lake with a cantilever frame and for installation the company has used scaffolding structure and even on boats.
The Project has been executed by the Company viz. Madhav Infra Projects Limited.
The Project has 500 KW Solar Panels put by the side of the lake over a distance of 1.2 KM and its produce around 7.5 lakhs unit annually, which leads annual saving of almost Rs50 lakhs in the water pumping station.
The project has been implemented by Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam with financing from GOI, GoMP and Bhopal Municipal Corporation.
The Projects has got Technical Assistance from the World Bank.
