To harness the abundantly available renewable energy potential in the state, the Government of Madhya Pradesh wishes to encourage the development of decentralised renewable energy installations (projects and applications) through this policy document. With the recent technological advances in the sector and the achievements in the space of large scale renewable energy based power generation, green energy has emerged as a viable and sustainable alternative to electricity produced from fossil fuel.
