Mahindra Electric announces partnership with Terrago Logistics to achieve its carbon-neutral goals – EQ Mag Pro
Mahindra Electric Mobility announced a partnership with Terrago Logistics, a city-based startup, on Wednesday, as per PTI reported.
Terrago operates a fleet of 65 Mahindra Treo Zor cargo vehicles in three cities with online grocery major Big Basket and leading logistics company Porter.
According to PTI, Terrago will receive additional electric vehicles from Mahindra Electric in the coming months as part of its zero-pollution fleet expansion.
“Terrago has been one of the early adopters of our Mahindra Treo Zor electric three-wheelers. The higher savings and zero tailpipe emission of the Treo Zor make it favourable for companies seeking efficient and sustainable modes of transportation for last mile delivery,” Mahindra Electric Mobility CEO Suman Mishra said in a statement.
He noted that the firm believes the alliance would not only help it achieve its carbon-neutral goals, but will also pave the way for others to adopt electric mobility, said PTI.
“Terrago’s association with Mahindra to accelerate electric vehicle penetration, helps fulfil our social responsibility towards the nation of reducing the carbon footprint in the country in our own small way,” Terrago Logistics co-founder Mohan Ramaswamy stated.
