Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Design and implement marketing strategies aligned with business targetsfocusing on specific market segments and geographies.
- Develop and maintain action plan for how to achieve targets as well as coordinating marketingstrategy and planning across functions and units.
- Participates in the design of go-to-market plans, targeted customer and marketing campaigns such as partner program and directly manage the implementation in market
- Research and recommend suitable industry events in sales territories, aligned with sales strategy. Manage the company’s participation at selected events.
- Coordinates with field sales teams to design, implement and support market growth and retention activities locally
- Manages activities in Marketo and SalesForce.com
- Drives content strategy and development to meet the needs of the sales organization at all points of the sales cycle
- Manages budget within corporate guidelines. Monitor actual expenses and reforecast as necessary
- Forward thinking — anticipates needs of the business based on response and market data and takes appropriate action
- Support the development of sales and marketing tools and collateral; brochures, case studies, presentations, video, infographics etc.
- Consistently looks for budget efficiencies to extend marketing programs
- Understand and monitor lead flow needs for the sales channels and adjust plans as needed
- Work closely country sales and marketing team to drive marketing strategy.
- Work with external design agency. Write creative briefs and manage projects to completion.
- Analyse, evaluate and report on campaign effectiveness and ROI.
- Analyse sales and marketing metrics
- Generate innovative ideas to promote our brand, products, solutions and services
- Ensure brand consistency through all marketing channels
- Address advertising needs
- Develop digital campaigns to increase web traffic and a strong, long-term web presence
- All other duties as assigned
Preferred Educational Background:
- Requires a master/bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, engineering or related field
Preferred Experiential Background:
- At least 2-4years’ experience in marketingpreferably in solar, electronics or home application industry
- Prior B2B experience marketing to small businesses or enterprise targets highly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of B2B marketing and demand generation programs
- Experience in managing marketing programs to multiple channels and targets
- Highly motivated and implementation-focused self-starter with the ability to communicate and work proactively with internal customers to identify marketing needs, recommend solutions and provide marketing counsel as needed to ensure the most positive business outcome.
- Experience in developing marketing communications programs and materials.
- Solid experience with targeted marketing programs and tactics, comfortable working with data to define target groups.
- Strong attention to detail; ability to proof and edit copy and layout design for strategic and graphic standard compliance.
- Ability to evaluate marketing efforts to determine attribution and ROI
- Demonstrated project management and organizational skills; proven ability to manage multiple priorities and provide excellent follow through.
- Excellent writing skills with proven ability to write/edit a variety of marketing communication pieces.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, highly collaborative environment where flexibility and teamwork are essential
- Understand the value of analysing sales and response data to drive decision making
- Deep experience in channel and new markets development
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Strong relationship management skills, highly driven and proactive.
- Team player and able to work with diversified team members.
- Operational experience with SalesForce.Com and Marketo, is highly advantageous
- Good knowledge and skills in MS Office (Excel and Powerpoint)
- Bi-lingual (Chinese and English) proficiency preferred.
