MoU signing between RSA and IIT Jodhpur TECK PARK towards CERE – a joint initiative and will create an Eco-system for Manufacturing of Polysilicon basic raw material of Solar Panel – EQ Mag Pro
Rajasthan Solar Association (RSA) signed a MoU with IIT TECK PARK jodhpur towards Centre of Excellence for Renewable Energy – CERE to conduct research in the field of solar and related technologies.
This will also facilitate in reducing the space between Industry and Academia. The Establishment of CERE is a historical initiative and a Landmark Accomplishment by RSA and will make Rajasthan a manufacturing hub of Solar Energy .
The welcome Address and Opening remarks were given by Prof. Santanu Choudhary – Director IIT Jodhpur. RSA President Mr. Sunil Bansal highlighted the objective, activities & Concept behind CERE.
In the MOU signing ceremony, MoU was signed by RSA President Mr. Sunil Bansal and Dr. Ram PrakashFaculty-in-Charge, IIT Jodhpur Technology Park.
The session was followed by CSR & Manufacturing Cluster Session initially started by Mr. KVL Narasimham from Knowledge Partner GIZ followed by speech from Mr.Anil Saboo – RSA Executive Body Member, IEEMA President and Managing Director Elektrolites Power Ltd, Mr. Suman Kumar – RSA Chairman, Mr. Naveen Kumar – Greenko Rajasthan, Mr.Anil Mishra – JK Tyre Ltd, Ms.Sarita Rao – Oil India Ltd and Mr.R.L.Choudhary JK Lakshmi Cement who were also Eminent members of RSA.
The discussion was later followed by presentation from IIT Jodhpur Professors on IIT Jodhpur’s Capabilities on Renewable Energy technologies such as Upcoming solar technologies, Micro-grid, Thermal storage, Solarthermal, cleaning mechanisms, bio-fuel etc.
The session ended with RSA Memento being given by Mr.Anil Saboo to Prof. Santanu Choudhary, Director IIT, Mr.Prateek Agarwal to Dr.Sampat Raj Vadera, Deputy Director IIT and Mr.Ramakant Jangid to Dr.Ram Prakash followed by vote of thanks by RSA Member & Convener CERE – Jodhpur Er. Ram Jangid.
