Surat : Navitas Solar, an innovation-focused leading module manufacturing company with a capacity of 500 MW per annum and expanding to 1.2 GW pa, has been honored at the prestigious Green Gujarat Award 2023 for its commitment to the environment.
An initiative of News18 Gujarati, the Green Gujarat Award was presented to Navitas Solar at a grand function at Avadh Utopia in Vapi on Sunday. Mr. Saurabh Aggarwal, Head-Taxation and Logistics, Navitas Solar received the award fromhon’ble Minister of Finance, Energy and Petrochemicals, Government of Gujarat, Shri Kanubhai Desai.
Shri Mukesh Patel, hon’ble minister of environment, Government of Gujarat and Mr D M Thaker, member secretary ,Gujarat Pollution Control Board were also present at the function.

The Green Gujarat Awards 2023 is a platform to recognize and honour the extraordinary contribution and unwavering commitment of organizations or individuals towards creating a greener future. The Award winners were selected by a distinguished jury comprising eminent environmental experts, representatives of Gujarat Pollution Control Board, members of NGOs working for environmental conservation, and the editor of News18 Gujarati.
