NHPC signs Power Sale Agreement with CSPDCL for supply of 400 MW solar power
NHPC signs Power Sale Agreement (PSA) with CSPDCL for supply of 400 MW solar power under the 2000 MW ISTS grid connected Solar Photo Voltaic Projects

NHPC Limited, India’s premier Hydropower utility, under the dynamic leadership of Shri A.K. Singh, CMD, NHPC has signed a Power Sale Agreement (PSA) with Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Company Limited (CSPDCL) on 25.09.2020 at Raipur (Chhattishgarh) for supply of 400 MW Solar Power at the tariff of Rs. 2.55/kWh for 25 years on long term basis. NHPC shall earn trading Margin @ Rs 0.07/kWh during the contract period.
The PSA was signed by Shri S.P. Rathour, General Manager (Power Trading), NHPC and Shri Manoj Khare, Chief Engineer (Commercial), CSPDCL in the presence of other officers from NHPC and CSPDCL.
The PSA has been signed under the 2000 MW ISTS (Interstate Transmission System) grid connected Solar Photo Voltaic Projects through NHPC Limited (Intermediary Procurer) under Tariff based Competitive bidding.
Till date, NHPC has signed PSA for supply of 1700 MW out of total 2000 MW Solar Power. PSA for balance quantum of 300 MW with PSPCL is likely to be signed shortly
