Notification of “Quality control order of Solar Photo voltaic Systems, Devices and Components Goods” dated 13.07.2018
Mr.Manish Gupta, President of North India Module Manufacturer Association (NIMMA) said
“We would like to inform you that with great joy, due to our regular follow up & a very long discussions with MNRE finally we won and govt. agree with our arguments for BIS matter. MNRE issue notification F. No. 223/140/2017 on dated 13.07.2018 (copy enclosed) with confirmation of following major points:
1. BIS IS: 14286 certification date extend to 05.09.2018.
2. BIS self certification date extend to 04.09.2018.
3. Module manufacturers having annual production capacity is less than 50 MW are exempted for BIS IS: 14286 certification for next 2 years till 04.09.2020 provided they have a valid IEC certificate either 2005 or 2016.
This is a great victory of whole NIMMA team and we are very much thankful to all of our members for there great support.”
