
NSP Announced 2016 April Revenue of NT$1,547 million
Neo Solar Power Corporation, a world-class leading producer of high quality solar cells and Modules in Hsinchu, Taiwan, announced April 2016 revenue of NT$1,547 million, representing a MoM decrease of 25.55%. Year-to-Date cumulative revenues reached NT$ 7,453 million as of April 2016, a +20.45% growth in YoY as compared with 6,187 million last year. The current solar market was impacted by short-term cyclical adjustment which makes the second quarter enter into a wait-and-see period. However, following demand recovery from China, US, and emerging markets in the second-half of this year, and more certain annual policies towards solar industry revealed from each country, the shipment volume is expected to gain its momentum. Leveraging leading position in solar cell technology, NSP group has been further extended its business scope into solar modules and global solar system markets, and with the continued growing solar system business in the future, NSP will increase its sales pipelines for solar cells and solar modules.
