PG&E Celebrates the Year of the Monkey by Offering More Clean Energy Options to Diverse Communities
Gung Hey Fat Choy! Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) will participate in several Lunar New Year celebrations, where it will provide diverse communities with information on the company’s energy efficiency programs and the newly launched PG&E’s Solar Choice program.
PG&E is now able to offer all residential and business customers a chance to be a part of California’s clean energy future. PG&E’s Solar Choice program extends the option for 100 percent solar power – all locally sourced in Northern and Central California – to customers who are not planning to install rooftop solar panels. Through the program, customers can reduce their carbon footprint and help drive the development of new solar resources within the state.
“The Year of the Monkey is known for bringing good fortune and new opportunities. PG&E is honored to join Asian Pacific American communities in celebrating this special occasion by offering more clean energy options to our customers,” said Fong Wan, senior vice president of Energy Procurement at PG&E.
