Phoenix Solar strengthens its commitment to quality and sustainability management
Phoenix Solar AG, a leading international photovoltaic system integrator listed in the Prime Standard of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, has been awarded the ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certificates for its enhanced quality and environmental management system.Due to increasing operating activities reflecting the strong growth and improved performance of the Phoenix Solar Group as a whole, a revised quality and environmental management system was implemented at the end of the 2015 financial year at three European companies of the Group. Phoenix Solar complies with the revised standards ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015. These assume that long-term success and profitability can be secured only through taking into account a company’s various defined interest groups. The corporate management principles have been extended accordingly to include the stakeholder approach.
The quality and environmental management system was audited successfully in a comprehensive multi-site process during the first quarter of 2016. The corresponding certificates were issued in the beginning of April. As all locations operate under the joint management system that Phoenix Solar AG, as the Group’s central operation, formulates, introduces and monitors regularly, requirements of processes for the quality and environmental management system are at the same level.
“We at Phoenix Solar place a very high value on the environment, where our track record of some 800 MWp of systems designed and built globally will continue to make an important contribution in the coming years. Along these lines, we also value sustainable business and management practices”, emphasized Phoenix Solar Group CEO Tim P. Ryan. “Among our stakeholders, our customers are of paramount importance. Our ultimate goal remains the design and delivery of commercial solar PV plants to them, on-time and on-budget – and of course also to customers’ demanding quality standards, via our certified project management approach. Continuous improvement in our organization and internal processes are integral to our ability to consistently deliver quality systems.”
