PMV Electric to launch compact EV tomorrow in the Indian market – EQ Mag Pro
PMV EaS-E micro electric car will be launched in the Indian market today (November 16th). The new battery-powered electric car is going to mark the commencement of the company’s plans in the Indian EV industry.
The EV maker has said that the PMV EaS-E electric car model prototype is now production-ready and will go into production ‘as quickly as possible’. This EV will be made available in three variants with different full charge range varying from 120 km to 200 km per charge.
As per official claims, the new PMV EaS-E electric car can be fully charged in just under 4 hours with its 3 kW AC charger. Furthermore, the vehicle will sport a number of features such as digital infotainment system, a USB charging port, air conditioning, remote keyless entry and remote park assist, cruise control, seat belts, etc.
In terms of exterior dimensions, the length of the car will span 2,915 mm in length, 1,157 mm in width, and 1,600 mm in height. The wheelbase of the model will extend 2,087 mm, and the ground clearance will stand 170 mm. Being a lightweight model the car will tip the scales at just around 550 kg.
“We are thrilled to be officially unveiling the product. This will be a significant milestone for the company as we have built a world-class product made by an Indian Company. We look forward to electrifying the nation and introducing a brand new segment called the Personal Mobility Vehicle (PMV), purpose built for everyday use,” said Kalpit Patel, Founder, PMV Electric in a previous announcement.
PMV EaS-E micro electric car: Expected price
The EV is likely to cost somewhere in the price range of Rs 4 lakh to 5 lakh, as previously suggested by the company.
