New Delhi: Union Minister for Power and New & Renewable Energy, Shri R K Singh visits 2000 MW NHPC Subansiri Lower HEP. The Hon’ble Minister witnessed key developments during his visit and reviewed the ongoing Civil and E&M construction activities.
Shri Singh motivated the workforce to contribute toward nation-building by being part of this large green project.
The Minister witnesses the completion of Erection of Unit 1 of Subansiri Lower HEP. These included the lowering of 7m diameter 132 ton Main Inlet Valve plug in erection area (the heaviest transported equipment of the project), the Generator barrel of India’s largest hydrogenator (306 MVA), Components of Semi-umbrella type Generator like 620-ton Rotor, 400-ton Stator, and Lower Bracket, etc., and the turbine pit (including components as Turbine Guide bearing, Guide vane servomotors, Operating Mechanism, turbine shaft and its coupling arrangement with generator shaft).
The Hon’ble Minister also reviewed the ongoing Civil and E&M construction activities and motivated the workforce to contribute to the nation-building by being part of this large green project.
