Dallas and Houston-area residents now have the ability to power their homes while supporting nearby solar farms in Texas with the new Reliant Local Solar plan, which gives consumers a modern alternative to energy through exclusive access to locally-sourced solar power. This offering gives customers in and around Dallas and Houston the chance to be some of the first in the state to power their homes while supporting solar energy at a competitive fixed rate, without the panels or hassle.

Customers who enroll in this plan will support the generation of 100 percent solar energy for their home from two Texas solar farms, Eddy II near Dallas-Fort Worth and Bovine near Houston.
