PPAs cancelled after speaking to PM Modi: V Vijaya Sai Reddy
Reddy said that many of the Jagan Mohan Reddy government’s decisions are being taken in consultation with Modi and Shah duo.
Vijayawada: YSRC Parliamentary party leader and Rajya Sabha member, V. Vijaya Sai Reddy on Wednesday said that the state government has decided to cancel renewable energy PPAs and Polavaram project tenders after consulting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP chief Amit Shah.
Talking to reporters in New Delhi after meeting Union Railways minister Piyush Goyal, Mr Reddy said that many of the Jagan Mohan Reddy government’s decisions are being taken in consultation with Modi and Shah duo.
Mr Reddy’s comments gained significance in the backdrop of Union ministers of power and Jal Shakthi finding fault with the state’s decisions and urging it to take back them. Mr Reddy met Mr Goyal urged him not to remove Waltair division from the newly formed railway zone with Vizag as headquarters.
