The company is in the business of manufacturing of solar modules, solar cells and renewable energy systems with an installed capacity of 300MW ranking amongst the top 5 manufactures in India in terms of installed capacity. The company owns and operates more than 120 MW of Solar Power Plants and has an independent EPC division doing design, engineering, and procurement and commissioning of solar power plants.
Job Description: –
Identify and evaluate suppliers, arrange for transportation of purchased goods, identify and develop strategies for addressing logistical barriers.
Monitor use of materials and resources, and ensures quality record keeping.
Discovering profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships.
Negotiating with external vendors to secure advantageous terms.
Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services.
Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries.
Examine and test existing contracts.
Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company.
Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients.
Expect unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies.
Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements.
Control expenses and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
Strategically planning and managing logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services.
Directing, optimizing and coordinating full order cycle.
Liaising and negotiating with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers.
Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
Arrange warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes.
Resolve any arising problems or complaints
Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
Desired Skills & Experience
2- 2.5 years of experience in procurement.
Should have knowledge of English, Hindi & Telugu.
Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques.
Talent in negotiations and networking
Good knowledge of supplier or third party management software(SAP)
Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
Experience in collecting and analyzing data
Strong leadership capabilities
Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
Proficient in standard logistics software
Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
Maintain of stock for individual projects.
Getting the stocks from the projects/sites and reconciling the as per the P.O and as used at sites.
