Job description
Procurement of all types of construction machineries, electrical material, hardware goods, firefighting materials, steel, cement, tiles….etc.
Explore market for new supply and sourcing opportunities and detailed meeting with vendors to understand the pricing trends of new products.
Negotiation with minimum 4-5 vendors to obtain the best possible prices and terms & conditions.
Prepare comparative statement of prices and specifications.
Manage and ensure P.O compliance. Follow up for the timely deliveries for smooth functioning at site.
Manage vendor relationship on behalf of the company and provide appropriate feedback to the HOD.
Co-ordination with Site Technical people including PM and Store In charge regarding quantities, BOQ to feed them with the material as per requirement
Co-ordination with Accounts Department regarding verification and payment of bills.
Ensure that all cost, planning and document control reports are prepared and issued in accordance with the Project Coordination Procedure.
Searching for new opportunities / products within the same specified budget as guided by Management.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Any Degree / MBA
5+ yrs experience in Procurement
Language requirements :
English – Fluent in Speaking, Competent in Reading and Writing
Hindi –Competent in Speaking, Reading and Writing
Competent in speaking one additional regional language
Familiar with material IS Codes pertaining to the Solar Industry.
Willingness to travel to and reside in remote sites throughout the duration of a project.
