This will help improve the viability of utility PPAs.
With this boost, discoms will let the industry to source some of their power from private renewable energy generators through open access to enable the industry to reduce their cost in these testing times. Although this move would address the situation in the short term, a longer-term approach is required to make the sector sustainable,” Mr. Pinaki Bhattacharyya, CEO, Amp Energy India.
