Railway institute to have green campus

Secunderabad : Indian Railway Institute of Financial Management will generate green energy, which will take care of 90% of its
power needs.

The 14-acre campus in Moula Ali will have solar installations and a water recycling plant. Rail Vikas Nigam Limited conceived
and constructed the project at a cost of Rs 85 crore.

“Finance and accounts officers of Indian Railways need to continuously update their skills. They can do so at the institute,” said
Vinod Kumar Yadav, chairman, railway board. tnn
