1 SCOPE OF THE JOB ROLE:
“To ensure sustainable business growth for Susten’s Distributed Solar business by managing business development, channel development, cultivating key strategic relationships & meeting stakeholders’ expectations.”
2 JOB DESCRIPTION (ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES):
” Business and Channel Development
Lead the overall sales process and project delivery in the assigned region, from lead generation to successful completion & commercial closure
Prepare the market approach strategy for each state in line with yearly business targets
Liason with state and nodal government agencies for permits & approvals
Work with and expand current prospect database to generate effective leads & convert them with desired profitability
Respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) in a professional and timely manner
Develop and manage channel partners for the specified region
Prepare monthly updates for the region – competitor activity, new business models, policy updates
Provide feedback on emerging business trends and best industry practices with a view to refine the business model, delivery and distribution channels
Manage Key Accounts
Develop and maintain relationship with key accounts & customers
Liasoning with key accounts and government agencies
Represent at industry events, including round tables, speaking forums & other events
Team Development
Mentoring & guidance to the team to achieve business targets
Driving learning and development for team, and planning for their career growth plans ”
Job Requirements:
1 Qualification –
MBA (Sales & Marketing) from a premium institute + B. Tech / B.E. – Electrical / Civil / Mechanical
2 Work Experience –
“3 to 5+ years including:
Minimum 3 years in project/ technical sales
Experience in solar/energy/power sector ”
3 Critical Skills & Competencies:
Technical understanding about Solar PV technology and EPC process
Commercial acumen and understanding of contracts
Client Relationship Management
Self- driven, independently functioning
Leadership and Team building
Negotiation skills and ability to improvise & close deals
Knowledge of Telegu/ Kannada/ Tamil a plus
