ReNew Power donates Rs 50 lakh to K’taka CM Relief Fund
Bengaluru: ReNew Power Private Limited, Country’s largest renewable energy Independent Power Producer has donated Rs 50 lakhs towards Karnataka Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to fight against dreaded killer Covid-19 which is spreading like wildfire.
Managing Director, ReNew Power, Sumanth Sinha and Karnataka Head K S Vishwanath met Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa and presented the cheque for Rs 50 lakhs recently, according to a statement issued here on Thursday.
The company has committed Rs 20 Crore in fight against Covid-19. It has contributed Rs 10 Crore to Prime Minister CARES Fund, Rs 5 crore to various States across the country, Besides distributing ration in more than 140 villages in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra.
