ReNew Power in talks with Japan’s Jera to sell 10%: Sources

ReNew Power, which is gearing up for an IPO in FY18, is in the process of signing a large transaction which will give a big boost to its valuations, people privy to the details told CNBC-TV18.
ReNew Power is in talks with Japan-based energy supply chain services company Jera to sell a 10 percent stake for USD 200 million which will value the company at USD 2 billion. The deal is likely to be signed in a few weeks. ReNew Power did not offer any comment to CNBC-TV18 on the deal with Jera.
