EQ organized Maharashtra State Annual Solar E-Award 2020-21 virtually on June 9. Powered by EQ iSearch, the awards were based on the achievements of the year 2020-21.
Sachin Agarwal, DGM- Solar, Godrej & Boyce, received the Project Engineering Head of the Year 2020-21 at EQ E-Award Show June 2021.Sachin Agarwal accepted the award and thanked EQ team for the recognition. He shared a presentation on his journey and achievements.
For the last seven years, Sachin works as Solar Business Head at Godrej and Boyce. At L&T Power, he was awarded the ICONs (Immense Contribution of Noteworthy Significance) award for FY 09-10.
Under his leadership, G&B has been conferred many awards in the last couple of years- Engineering team of the Year 2020, Leading EPC- Solar Rooftop Company at Renewable Energy Indi Expo 2019, Best Solar Rooftop EPC company for the year 2018 and Solar Project Innovation of the Year –Engineering Company in 2019.
Sachin was also covered in EQ International’s May Edition in ‘Solar Industry’s YOUNG GUNS’.
Sachin informed about the solar journey of G&B.
He said, “We are going at CAGR Growth rate of 199 per cent over last five years. Right Now, we are executing 90 MW of Ground Mounted Projects, and we have already executed more than 25 MW Rooftop installations on a PAN India basis. We have completed more than 200 rooftop installations.”
