Job description:

Location: Bangalore, India

Reporting to: Assistant Director Sales – SolarEdge India

Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for sending technical pre-sales documents to Customers & initiate Cold calls.
  • Business development activities for Solar Inverter across South India / India
  • Creation of regional sales plan and forecasting in alignment with business objectives/Strategies
  • Implementation of sales programs by developing field sales action plans.
  • Sales pipeline/ product mix pipeline preparation & Internal database update
  • Responsible for Sales Forecast & Achieving the revenue Targets for the region.
  • Regular coordination & close working with regional Distribution partner.
  • Responsible for handling commercial/ Technical queries from customers in coordination with internal support teams.
  • Assist in preparation of the Marketing plan for the assigned region
  • Continuously educate customers through workshops, seminars, Training and attending conferences
  • Promote and maintain company’s image as the leader in the solar market

Skill Sets & Expertise:

  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Negotiation skill,
  • Strong hold in English, Hindi and south Indian languages
  • Analytical and solution finding approach
  • Domain knowledge either in Solar Inverter or large Power Supplies.
  • Quick learner and go getter. Capable to work under least supervision.
  • Team player and should possess good communication skills.
  • Willingness for national travel
  • Self-contained and self-organized working style
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously at high standards under pressure
  • Focusing on meeting the customer’s needs, maintaining long-term customer relationship

Experience:

  • Around 3~8 Years of total experience in sales and sales operation activities in the High Power/ Grid Connected/ Renewable Energy Products / UPS industry
  • Prior experience in the Solar Industry will be an added advantage
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Strong business sense and solar industry network & contacts

Education: Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering/ MBA in Sales & Marketing (Advantage)
