SBI installs solar panels at 29 rooftop sites in Telangana
The bank on Wednesday announced that it had installed solar panels at 151 rooftop sites with a total capacity of 6.23 MW of energy which will save Rs.30 crore in electricity supply costs annually across the country
Hyderabad: State Bank of India has installed solar panels at 29 rooftop sites across the State. These panels have a total capacity of 1243 KWP of solar energy, thereby saving Rs.1.51 crore in electricity supply cost annually.
The bank on Wednesday announced that it had installed solar panels at 151 rooftop sites with a total capacity of 6.23 MW of energy which will save Rs.30 crore in electricity supply costs annually across the country.
The energy generated through these renewable sources is solely for captive use by bank’s various offices and branches across the country making them free of any carbon emission.
